Ashley Hollis

Ashley Hollis was born and raised here in Chattanooga, TN and her passion for hospitality began at the age of 7. Ashley’s grandmother was an Assistant General Manager at a hotel in town. Every Thursday, she would pick Ashley up from school and bring her back to the hotel. Ashley was an expert at filing registration cards in alphabetical order and was paid for her efforts with chicken fingers and honey mustard. She also thought it was great that her grandmother had an endless amount of cash in the safe for her to play in the game room. Ashley later learned that her grandmother was cashing in her own money for quarters. Once Ashley graduated high school, she wanted to take a year off from school and reached out to an old friend, Tim Haynes who was her grandmother’s General Manager and family friend. Tim hired Ashley to work at the front desk for that year. The rest was history as Ashley followed Tim to Vision Hospitality Group and began her hospitality career. Since her start, Ashley has held multiple positions including Sales Coordinator, Director of Sales, Area Director of Sales and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. She even helped as a Laundry Attendant during COVID. Ashley is the recipient of multiple awards within the industry, but her biggest accomplishment was speaking at the Embassy Suites Conference in 2023 on group and meeting service scores in front of her brand peers. Ashley is now the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown with Defoor Hospitality Group.
