John Deane

John Deane is a former health care executive who pivoted to a second career in hospitality in 2018. He is the owner/operator of Wildwood Resort & Marina, a small, boutique resort and marina on Cordell Hull Lake in the small town of Granville in Jackson County Tennessee. John and his wife have also invested in developing Miss Sallie's Market, a fresh food grocery store with prepared foods just off The Square in downtown Gainesboro, Tennessee. In addition, John has developed Honest John's Frozen Custard in downtown Gainesboro, just across the street from Miss Sallie's Market. In making these investments, the Deane's have focused on rejuvenating Jackson County, formerly on the list of distressed counties in the state (but no longer).
