Professional Bio
Frank Lett began his tenure at Visit Kingsport in September 2005 as the Director of Sports. He has been promoted twice within the organization to Associate Executive Director and then to President and Chief Tourism Officer. Visit Kingsport leads tourism efforts in Kingsport as well as plans and implements the city’s major events. In addition, Visit Kingsport manages Hunter Wright Stadium, and owns the Kingsport Axmen, a member of Major League Baseball’s Appalachian Wood Bat League.
Frank is currently an officer of Play Tennessee, an organization he assisted in founding as a state-wide sports tourism alliance in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. He is chairman of the board for the Sports Events and Tourism Association, a national professional organization with 1,000 plus members. He also serves as vice president of the Kingsport Community Foundation.
Frank is a Certified Sports Tourism Specialist as well as a Certified Tennessee Tourism Professional.
