Professional Bio
In addition to over a decade of instruction in higher education, Elizabeth has held management positions in both the restaurant and hotel industries, has served as the Executive Director of the AH&LA Information Research Center, and has served as the Program Director for the Hilton College’s Executive Masters Program of Hospitality Management at the University of Houston. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Middle Tennessee State University and the program coordinator for Tourism and Hospitality Management. She specializes in consumer behavior marketing, strategic management, and lodging operations. Elizabeth conducts research focusing on decision making, risk perceptions, and online communities.
